Left off most "Greatest Hits" packages, Can't keep a Good Man Down" is a must have off this album.

Still baffles me this day why this song wasn't a monster hit or that Eddie didn't put it on a Greatist Hits album. It's a classic most have missed.
I WAS THERE, WHERE WERE YOU?

Eddie Money's self-titled first album definitely had a much rawer sense about it than "Life For The Taking". As a result, "Life" caught most people by surprise since it's songs had more radio appeal. However, because the critics did not give it favorable reviews, most of the better tracks got no airplay. However, check out "Gimme Some Water", "Maybe I'm a Fool", "Maureen" and "Nobody" and your surprise may be a pleasant one. Even the title track and "Can't Keep a Good Mand Down" have their merits, although they do not happen to be my cup of tea.
Some really nice guitar work

Jimmy Lyon's guitar playing was the groove and fire on many of Eddie Money hits. His solo on "Cal On Me" is great!
