On the road, we have a “jam room” set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up and sometimes try out new ideas. Bone Church started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is. This one is for the fans - a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written. Enjoy. -clown

It’s experimental and not super heavy, but good nonetheless. I hate to tell you guys, but Slipknot’s Iowa days are over. What do you expect? The 9 aren’t getting any younger, so to expect them to return to their youthful angst and heaviness is really naive. Almost every metal band goes through this trajectory - it’s rare that musicians are able to match the heaviness of their younger works. Perhaps it’s time their fan bases caught on to that (common sense) reality.

Every band changes over the years. some bands are one hit wonders, some bands have some good songs, and some bands are great no matter what. SLIPKNOT IS AMAZING. Yes, unfortunately we lost Joey and Paul, but Slipknot are metal gods still. I hate negative reactions to great music. If a band is your favorite, you should never say anything bad about them. Best 9 people to come out of IOWA!
