In response to DG370, you do not spell straight without the gh. Get your spelling right before correcting people.
  • Huge difference in tone

Such a better mix Chris Lord-Alge is a animal.
  • I like certain elements of each mix better than the other.

CLA's mix is fantastic. His drums are louder more pronounced and the mix sounds warmer. But I like the loudness of the other mix and the vocals are more direct and in your face. The mastering had to be different for both. I like the warmth of CLA and I also like the cutting midrange of the original.
  • It was good...

But I don't like the remix that much. I wish the single for a song actually had the single and not a remix and the music video for it.
  • Meh.

This is my favorite Slipknot song of all time, so it makes a good single, but i agree on the comment on Anders. Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. should be on here. But in case anyone is wondering, here's a list of the bands Anders has been in since Slipknot: Painface Vice Grip Throttle All That Crawls If you search the web, you can find them. Also, there might be a Painface song on itunes. It's called "Black Sheep," but I'm not sure if it's the same Painface.

The only difference between the single and album version is, the single version was mixed by none other than Mr. Chris Lord-Alge, the make it sound balls to the walls radio/single guy. To most, you would never hear a difference. To some, you can hear a more clear and well defined mix. Up to you if you want to spend the extra cash, but for my ears... worth it. It's only $0.99 and it's a great mix of the track.

Sulfur is good for people who like heavy stuff but not too heavy. It's good for people who are just learning to like metal and slipknot. I noticed that the CLA mix had lighter drums that played a bit of a different beat. But other than that it was the same. Anyway, Sulfur is great.

I love slipknot and there new stuff! I think sulfur is one of the heaviest songs on the album. I do personally think that iowa is my favorite tho. Corey has a bit of a mouth when he performs but still there music is still grate!
