Powerful

These new singles are powerful, poignant, and visceral. A little different in tone, but still very much the Z&E I love and recognize. To all the reviewers complaining about Z&A getting “political,” did you even understand the lyrics of their entire body of work prior? It’s always been political, it’s always had a focus centered around the realities of racism, you just didn’t understand it. You don’t get to enjoy a body of work that’s so heavily influenced by and born from the music created by enslaved Black people and then complain when the artist, who is Black, writes work focused on the fact that Black people are still being oppressed.
Stop being ignorant.
