If you’re familiar with the concept of “shu-ha-ri”, this album is like the “ha” part (breaking the rules), and the “ri” part (going in one’s own direction), at the same time. Love how Gareth is able to combine so many genres, from house, to drum & bass, to breakbeat, to blues/soul, and of course it wouldn’t be Gareth Emery without a superb dose of trance.

I preordered the album after watching the live album set that Gareth did a week or so ago. You will be disappointed if you want all of the songs from his THE LASERS album release live set. They aren't here. In fact, half of the tracks that got me excited aren't even here. I'm guessing he will do a deluxe release in the future with all of the songs. Super disappointed.
