this came out in 2018, it is now 2023 and this album has only gotten better and better. its my favorite album of all time. Star treatment is my favorite of the 11 but every track has its own personality, its own vibe, its own qwerk and i love it. this album has single handily changed the way i view and listen to music. its a lounge pop, psychedelic pop masterpice and i cannot understand why people think "every song sounds the same" or that the drums are "basically non existent" like what bro? i know this album divided the fan base but those people are lames. TBHC and The Car are fantastic albums and people dont get that you arent the same person you were a moment ago, music should evolve, people should evolve , artists should evolve. and this... this is a perfect example of that. 11/10

I think what’s cool about Arctic Monkeys is they’re always evolving, each of their albums has a theming to it. This one is especially evident. I really love this album, its a very retro space film themed to me, I think it’s a fun. Music and production are beautifully done.

Alex and the band tried something new, and did an amazing job! I understand how people wanted more of the rock style though this album is fine you just need to change your point of view. I cant wait for the next album! This album should not stop arctic monkey fans from loving there songs! I know not many people like Alex's voice in this album but it fits with the style he was trying to get. This album was wonderfully executed.

This album is awful. I love the comments that get mad at people disappointed by this album by saying “aren’t they allowed to evolve?” Sure they are. And I’m allowed to evolve away from a band that has apparently transformed into one unrecognizable from the sound that truly made them outstanding.

look, i get wanting another humbug era, that album is amazing. but these guys have to evolve, just as everything else does. sure it doesn’t sound like the other albums, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad, in fact i think that just makes it better. you guys would be complaining just as much if they came out with humbug 2.0, and you know it. just appreciate it man!
