Like a fine wine, it get's better with time and as each listen goes by, you get more and more out of it. I like how long it is as well. A great collection of songs that make for a wonderful listen. Would have been great had it have been a double album like speculated. Being a longtime fan, I very much love this album and I place it high up there on list of all time favorite albums. Buy it.

I love FM, but this album is plain creepy. Of their other albums, FM displays elegance. This album is crass and disturbing. Especially the song Come, which sounds like screams from hell. The only good songs are Say You Will, Thrown Down and Destiny Rules. Missing Christine.

To me, the best songs on the album are the ones so many here dislike: "Murrow Turning Over in His Grave" and "Come." I love Buckingham's edgy experiments and wish the album had more of them. Many of the songs that others like I find a bit bland or derivative or gimmicky. For example, there seems to be a crow cawing in the chorus of "Peacekeeper," which sounds more than a little like the chorus of Paul Simon's "Kodachrome" (sans crow).
  • Very underrated!

Although the amazing and very talented christine mcvie was absent during the recording of this album (and she could have brought many amazing songs to it) this album is still crazy good! Very underrated. Every song has an crazy backstory to back up and equally crazy song! Absolute perfection!
  • Could live without some songs

Just about all of the Nicks tracks shine, though I was not overly impressed with the new version of "Smile At You" or "Everybody Finds Out". Some of the Lindsey stuff was a bit odd, but since Rumours he has always been hit and miss so I expected that. Missed Christine a lot. Overall, I think it's a good effort and has a bunch of great songs mixed in.

I’m 25 and got into Fleetwood Mac with their live album “The Dance” and this has a similar sound to that. I really prefer their newer sound to the older one. I got this album probably in 2005 and recently revisited it and was reminded of how much I love it.

I agree with Dez. the three songs he mentioned weren't right for this album and I took them off the CD I burned for the car (I don't download or listen to digital sources, still buy records and CD's here!) but the rest of the record is fantastic. I've never loved Christine McVie so her absence actually worked in favor of this album. she sounds ok blending harmonies with the rest but as a lead singer I can do without her. "What's The World Coming To", "Peacekeeper", "Illume", "Thrown Down". all classics. I hope the new album that's coming out in 2015 is at least half as good as this album!
