I'm not a musical historian but the original Isley Brothers 3+3 album seemed to me to be their first album to highlight the groups musicianship and more importantly their individual musical talent. The single "That Lady" was not the only commercial success from the album but "Summer Breeze" definitely opened the world's eyes to The Isley Brothers individual dynamic talent. I believe this album exemplifies the foundation of the "R&B-Jazz-Rock-Fusion" era of the 1970's.
