David Blaine, What is Magic?

Blaine takes his unique brand of magic on a road trip across the United States. He enters the hurricane-stricken Ninth Ward in New Orleans and changes people’s luck by transforming their one dollar bills into hundred dollar bills. He also attempts the same feat that ended Houdini’s life, by taking punches from one of the world’s toughest street fighters, Kimbo Slice. The show culminates in one of the most famous effects in magic, the Bullet Catch, in which Blaine catches a .22 caliber bullet fired at point-blank range into a small metal cup in his mouth. Filmed using Phantom Camera technology, the viewer can see the bullet flying through the air at 10,000 frames per second.
