First of all, let's put these claims that Kellie Pickler ripped off the Christina Aguilera "Candyman" video in their place: the gutter. 1. WORLD WAR II is too important an era in our nation's history for ANY artist to claim it as her own. WWII was America's finest moment. There are THOUSANDS of books, movies, songs, articles, essays, etc., about this era. It takes an incredible lack of cultural awareness to think that one artist "owns" an era as broad as WWII simply by making a video. 2. Who's getting ripped off? Kellie Pickler's video is a tribute to the USO. Kellie tours annually with the USO, traveling to dangerous and remote locations in the Middle East to entertain our troops and soldiers. She could stay home, be safe and make lots of money doing a few concerts instead. But she's proud to be an American, and is doing her part. 3. Now, I don't follow Christina Aguilera very closely, but I can't find a single connection between Christina and the USO other than this "Candyman" video. Has Christina Aguilera EVER done a USO tour? So you have one artist that consistently supports the USO and one that apparently only borrowed a theme for one video. Again, who's getting ripped off? 4. Copycat? Christina's video MIMICS the style of the Andrews Sisters; that's why she uses modern computer tricks to put three versions of herself -- blonde, brunette and redhead -- in her video. It was NOT a tribute to the organization or the soldiers, like Kellie's video. And you have to wonder what the Andrews Sisters would think about a video that so blatantly promotes casual sex. 5. If you're doing a USO tribute, choosing a WWII theme is a no-brainer. Like the United States, that organization rose to meet its greatest challenge ever during that era and ingrained itself forever in the consciousness of educated and patriotic Americans everywhere. So, in conclusion, any claim that MMFILA is a rip-off of "Candyman" is ignorant. Finally, on to the review for "Makin' Me Fall In Love Again." MMFILA is a simple feel-good song. The lyrics reflect where Kellie is in real life right now, about to marry her one true love. That explains why Kellie is able to bring so much meaning to such a simple song. Her performance punctuates the timeless essence of pure love. The video builds on the feel-good mood of MMFILA and extends the love expressed in the song to America's troops. MMFILA is a beautiful tribute to lovers everywhere and to America's brave men and women in the service.

Kellie-- When ever im down and in need of a(pickler) me up its usually your video's that do it for me. I just have to see that smilling face, that beautiful voice, and that sweet sence of humor pulls me back. Thank you Kellie for being that "lightning bug" on a moonless night. Kellie is always amazing at her music videos but this one ruined her perfect record. She could've done better and I wish she had.

If she was going to do a Retro/Pinup War Era video she should have not done it so much like Christina Aguilera's video for CANDY MAN, this video feels like a RIP OFF
