I like some of the songs by Dave but this whole album forgets about the Sammy Hagar years in Van Halen, you can’t forget the classic why can’t this be love, and the song 316, and the song Roundround, this is not the Van Halen collection.

If you want Van Hagar, go buy the Hagar albums. If you want Van Halen, this is a good set. The live album is okay, but it has all the DLR albums, which is real Van Halen.

Buy the individual albums because this has is nothing but a few albums and rehashes of those same albums as “live” versions. Jeez it doesn’t even have the Hagar era.

The original line-up was Van Halen. Sammy was good but it was more like Sammy Hagar's solo albums than Van Halen. Glad they made this collection with the classic band.

I grew up listening to Van Halen with David Lee Roth. As others stated, I still have their cassettes.
But I am also a fan of Van Halen with Sammy. I love them both. I think they should release a collections with Sammy Hagar!
