    The Beautiful Girls and also Mat McHugh have such a deep catalog that it is hard to classify this record as the “best” album, but it’s right up there. The songs are all great (no filler) and the grooves are incredible. I agree with the review above that I am digging the direction Mat and TBGs are going in. I can only image how fun this would be to see at a live show. Standout tracks to me are Dancehall Days, Real Love, Control, and #1 Stylee. The only issue I have is that the album is on the shorter side, I could do a few more tunes :)

    While this is by no means their best album (see Ziggurats), it is a great follow up to 2010 release 'Spooks'. I like the new direction mat is taking...you can definitely tell the influence from Fat Freddy's Drop on this. I know this will be jamming in my car for the next few months. So glad to see em back!!! Been so long..
