I’m sort of a johnny-come-lately, listening to the remarkable musicianship and command of lyrics that these youngsters have. I only first heard them on the Showtime documentary “Another Day, Another Time”. That was about seven months ago, (October 2014). I have been, for years, lamenting the state of popular music, which seemed to be in a downward spiral for the past 20 years or so. But listening to Lake Street Dive’s one musical contribution to “Another Day, Another Time”, "You Go Down Smoothe”, quite simply blew me away. I not only became an instant fan, but I sincerely have renewed hope for this younger generation’s contribution to the overall state of Music. These kids are so good and so original; I think that they might not even know of the impact their music is having. Keep on doing’ the do,

I found out about Lake Street Dive on friday night and have been astounded. I've listen to almost all their songs and haven't found one i didn't like. Rachael Price's voice is simply spellbinding. The band together is perfection. You don't hear this sound around anymore this is quality in every aspect of their songs creation. These musicians are so multitalented i love all of their work. I can't wait for you guys to continue to make more! Know you have a fan for life =) Love it

I'm a recent fan of this band, but this cut pretty much wraps up why they have captured me. Rachel Price's vocals are outstanding, the band just gets it with sparse but perfect accompaniment. Just pure pleasure for the ears,
