This is one of my personal favorite Led Zeppelin albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from Led Zeppelin.

Simply awesome, especially the new versions that weren't released - really, really good - it is like hearing Zeppelin do a cover for Zeppelin - ueah, amazing!! There isn't a lot to say about this release, it is incredible especially if you are Zep Head (like me). In terms of the quality, it is really good, so much so that I can pick up the subtle difference between the original release and this one. Highly recommend purchasing this "album/CD/digitall", it is incredible to hear alternative voicings to some of the greatest music ever created - Whole Lotta Love is just one of many. Would make a great gift, especially to a younger person that may not have been exposed to Zeppelin. can you imagine "discovering" Let Zeppelin? I was 12 when I heard Babe, I'm Gonna Leav You and that was it for me. I'm 56 now and still listen to Zep and or BadCo practically everyday on the ride to/from work!

I love all of these deluxe editions. The remastering is absolutely fantastic; it sounds like you are actually standing in the studio during the sessions. I am hearing so many new details I had never heard before from the older CDs. The bonus tracks are fascinating artifacts of these great songs that hardcore Zep fans will love; they give you a new perspective on the songs.

I really liked the backing track for Thank You and wish you could get that for every other song on the album. Leaving the vocals out draws more attention to the greatness of the arrangements and melodies.

This is one of my favorite albums of all time! It's flawless, but the second disc umm...Not so great La La's good but that's all I like. So you should go check it out your self and see what you think.

If you don't have this already, buy it. But the "remastered" stuff sounds no different to me. And the bonus disc is interesting at best; the original album holds up because it's good. So you should start seeing the original CDs show up used at your favorite brick n mortar record store.
  • I'll still stick with the originals

Re-master today's sound doesn't catch my ears. The originals has everything. I grew up with them and the original mix brings me back memories and atmosphere of that time. Re-master doesn't brig me anything.
