Not only does this music make my heart soar, it makes me wonder where is all the good R&B? One of the best groups out there for sure.

Well this is where it starts, popularly, for the Spinners as WE know them but I can go back to "It's a Shame" (a pre-Phillippe hit) as I left for the Army, Fall '73... In the annals of Male Groups, especially CONTEMPORARY Male Groups The Spinners have to be in your Top 3 (along w/the Commodores & O'Jays) just as many hits, just as paced, just as Iconic lead singers(with both Philippe & John Thompson) - LONG LIVE YOU - SPINNERS!!!!!!

If there's ever an album that has "flown under the radar", its without a doubt this one. As a high school freshman, this was the very first album I had purchased. And, now through out the course of my 53 years of existence, I have accumulated over 6,000 LPs, and this one will always hold a special place in my heart. A great album. Thank you itunes for this hidden treasure.

Without a doubt this was the Spinners finest hour! When Philippe 'Soul Wynne jumped on board all the pieces were in place. This is the first album that I ever bought, and I still get a certain feeling when I hear the first notes on "Just Can't Get You Out Of My Mind." And that feeling stays with me until I hear Philippe singing "skippin' beats with my heart girl..." on the last song of the set "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love." Thank you Thom Bell and the city of Detroit for bringing us these vocal masters.

I think this, along with the Jackson 5's "ABC" are two of the best pop/r&b albums of the 70s.

Pound for pound, note for note and tune for tune...this is the greatest single soul album ever recorded. I doubt the Spinners knew what they had back in '72. "72? Oh dear, 35 years ago and this music is still vital, beautiful, uplifting. The Spinners were/are the absolute perfect mix of church and street.I listen to this music everyday.

Anyone who grew up in the 60's or 70's would love this classic from a group that, I feel, never got the recognition it deserved. The sound is as great today as it was then and it is classic.
