Really???

I've always loved you...The Smiths, and Morrissey (the face and voice of The Smiths) since my teen years (29+ years ago). You are a bastion of my younger years when we all seemed to yearn for a more simplistic future where all people could be equal and pleased. Yet now, I've come to realize that this is a fallacy. The only people who really want this are socialistic freeloaders who bleed dry the working and middle class of their labors and taxes.
I will always love what I once believed you and The Smiths stood for in the 1980's, but things have changed drastically in the common mindset since then for me. Now that I am in the workforce...bleeding, suffering, striving and even thriving... maybe one day you will understand my point, but this is doubtful. You are probably now one of the liberal elite, out of touch with the working, taxpaying urban classes. What a shame, since I once looked to you for guidance, years ago. I do still love your music, but only for the melodies and symphonic harmony that once gave me pleasure and a feeling of well-being futurism. How I long for those seemingly simpler years and the naïveté that once was with them.
