Totally agree Ms. Riperton's best song, "The Edge of A Dream" should've been included. If you haven't heard it, you're missing out on something very special. But, I'm glad to see iTunes offering some remastered Riperton's classics. She's incomparable and you just can't go wrong with any selection of hers.
She was the original song bird—sorry, but not Denise Williams, who was great in her own right.

I saw her live around 1975 as the opening performer for Richard Pryor. AMAZING. We were spellbound.
I remember the first thing he said on stage after her performance, "Man I WISH I could find a woman that I could make scream like that...in b_d!"
Awesome

Minnie Riperton was a Shining Star whose light was extinguished way too soon. Every time I listen to her voice, it puts me in a HAPPY PLACE. Minnie was probably the Female Vocalist with the greatest octave range (5 and a half Octaves) that ever lived. Her voice was fun, funky, fresh, and fabulous. Listening to Minnie Riperton makes me feel young again and privileged to have enjoyed her gift and this CD highlights many of her best efforts especially Lovin' You. She is missed and this CD keeps her Spirit alive in our thoughts & memories.

Her best song was "the edge of a dream". This collection would be perfect if this was on here.
