This rendition is absolutely amazing! The best version I have heard, I only wish this version would have been sung in the movie instead of the short version we were given! Bravo!

The tempo is too fast, the score behind the vocals and the drum beat obscure the prose. There is no sense of the moment with this version, the Dwarves are recounting their past, the beauty and splendor of their old kingdom, the terror of smug, and lastly the journey they are about to take, I want to see that in my minds eye when listening. All I see is something akin to Riverdance. The only good thing about this is that it is the complete prose from the book.

This edition of Tolkien's poem is absolutely breathtaking, and fantastic when heard through a surround-sound setting. It incorporates more of the poem than what we were given in the movie, and maintains the deep, resonating thrum we expect from the Dwarves. If ever you were to listen to the song in its entirety, this would be the version to choose.

This version of "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" is by far the best I've heard. Way better even than in The Hobbit movie, though obviously much longer as well. Excellent work folks!

I couldn't wait until this version came on iTunes! This is by far the best Misty Mountains on the Internet.
