Bat for a Heart - Single

I have this song in my iTunes since it was released.. as a long time Ashlee Simpson fan I was so excited to purchase this song... but I was completely disappointed.. sorry to say that I really don’t like this song and everytime it comes on I skip it... with the news that ashlee is recording again I really hope her new material is nothing like this song..

just give five stars for the poor girl, this is clearly horrific.

it sounds like it isnt finished. it sounds like a rough demo. Ashlee Simpson is no Mariah Carey or Lady gaga. but i know she can release decent music. this isnt good at all.

Been too long without Ashlee. When I first heard the explict version I thought "Not for Radio" The song grew on me after a few plays, and there is a "clean" version that could be radio friendly which replaces the f bomb with the word mess. What Ashlee needs is some radio play and word of mouth. Being out of music for five years gives her an up hill battle, but she is capable of making (and has in the past) some very catchy tunes. I wish her the best in getting back on the charts.

Was expecting much more.. The video was horrible also.

I really liked her old music, but this is terrible! Maybe the divorce from Pete Wentz didn't work out in her favor and she couldn't afford a good producer as a result. Lol

Too many haters who probably like Britney better, to each their own, Ashlee is so underrated. She's great!
