EXCELLENT MOVIE! It is great. It is not a scary movie. But most people mistake it as one because they see a hyena in the trailers but it is a TERRIFIC MOVIE. I went to a sleepover and we watched it and I fell in love with it. So my Mom and I bought it today and watched it and it was still Terrific. But I don't recommend 3-D because I think it would be scary!

Mychael Danna truly makes you lost in a paradise of great music. He compliments the scene's of the movie perfectly. Danna went out of his comfort zone and hit a home run. He mixed in the exotic drums while still using the classic orchestra feel.
An incredible transforming score

Simliar to Pi's transformation into a confused man into a man of God is reflected by this absolutely stellar score. Similar to last year's "The Artist", the score is absolutely essential to the telling of this incredible story. No doubt on of my favorites, especially tracks "First Night, First Day" and "TsimTsum."

Life of Pi score streams through your entire body with emotionally brilliant music that takes you to a place of serene peace.
This score deserved to win the Oscar and Ang Lee is the Master of film making. I cried with joy when he won his Oscar as Best Director.

This is the best original film score I have heard in a long while. I'm so glad that it has won the awards it has because it really deserved to. This music brings so much signature to Life of Pi. I haven't felt that way about a score since James Horner and Titanic. I find it rare when I can hear a film score and really be told a story. Definitely one of the best film scores ever made, in my opinion.

I personally thought it was a "must have" score as well as the score for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My most favorite song was "Pi's Lullaby". This Score is Oscar material !!
