  • A few great individual songs, but as an album, does not compare to original Black Sands

    This album as a whole was very disappointing. Nearly every remix was much less enjoyable than the original song. Even not compared to the originals, many of the mixes were abrasive to listen to. Despite the lack of constant quality, this album does have a few very good songs to offer. The Banks remix of The Keeper, the remix of the Prelude, and the two Bonobo original tracks (especially Ghost Ship) are worth checking out. My advice is to listen to the one and a half minute sample of every song and decide whether the album as a whole is worth the price to you. I personally wish i had bought the three or four songs that i enjoyed and saved a little money.
