The song Shiver is actually an acoustic version of Right Before My Eyes?

Cage the Elephants live act really shows who they are as a band. Much more so than studio recordings. I saw CTE open for the Foo Fighters at the Pepsi Center in 2011. I originally went for the foo fighters but I was blown away by Cage. By far one of my favorite bands.

I don't think this was the best choice for me to buy as a first CTE album, while it is probably enjoyable for the hardcore fans, I was distracted by the poor quality of the live recording. The way they mic'd the lead singer was barely above garage-band quality, barely. I like this band, or at least what I hear on the radio, but I think they either have to really learn how to do a clean live recording, or stick with studio work until they are known better, and have a greater body of work to represent themselves. This album was about 50% of what they have to represent themselves on the shelves in my local area, and based on this album I wouldn't buy another of thier albums.

I'm dying to see these guys live. This band is probably the greatest rock band out there right now and could easily be the Nirvana of our generation (except a five piece band and not suffering from lead-singer syndrome). He kinda messed up on 'Ain't No Rest For The Wicked', but I'm not a professional musician who performs on a daily basis, so it's forgiviable. By the way, yes, 'Shiver' is the acoustic version of 'Right Before My Eyes'. I was confused at first too.
