    This is Lang Lang's style - clean strokes and his own set of beats. Don't be harsh, if you don't like his style, just go back to your own.

    Simply beautiful! There are no words to properly describe the beauty of these pieces. I was at Carnegie Hall when LangLang encored with both Romance and La Campanella, and I sat there crying just because of the emotion in the music. It is lovely, simply lovely! Great job, LangLang!

    lang lang consistently butchers liszt; his interpretations and performances are horrible! I cannot fathom why his is so popular, and it feels like something is being eaten away inside of me every time I hear him destroy a piece - and the worst part is that it is always liszt with him! He is not liszt reincarnated, although some people seem to think he is. Another reviewer said it perfectly: pure fluff - it is all showmanship; there is no truth in lang lang's playing. He obviously has superior technical ability, but I think lang lang also has an ego problem that makes him think he knows what liszt intended better than liszt did, otherwise he would play liszt's pieces so that they resemble what is written in the music. This album - and every other disgrace to liszt that lang lang has foisted upon the listening public - is simply garbage.

    Lang Lang is truly marvelous and so are the pieces. When I listened I reached a musical ecstasy and my mind was blown. My favorite piece in this album is La Campanella. Liszt and Lang Lang were/are truly astonishing. BUY IT!!! YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT!!!
