I Will Stand By You: The Essential Collection

I clicked on "Flies on the Butter" to preview it, and the first word was "Mammaw", and I had to immediately buy the entire album...just reminds me of growing up, and my family recently lost our Mammaw...I'm crying like a baby, but in a good way. I love you Mammaw, and what a good memory of growing up listening to the Judds...if you were ever a Judds fan, definately worth the buy!!!! Thank you for giving my family so many wonderful memories Miss Wynona and Miss Naomi!!!

This album takes me back summer vacation at my gramas house... my cousin and I waking up at the crack of dawn to run out to the barn and pester our horses. But first, we'd plug in the old TAPE player so we could listen to Love Can Build A Bridge, and ride our horses around the arena!! I do believe we wore that old tape out :) and here I am, 25 years old, and I still LOVE this music. It is amazing what hearing one line of a song can make you remember. This is a great album and I would suggest that everyone buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank my post if you like it! That way if the wonderful Judds look at this they will see just how much their music meant (and still means) to me!

As soon as I started listening to this album, memories of me growing up flooded my mind. Most def goin on my graduation playlist. :)

The Judds' music stands the test of time...their music is just as relevant today and makes them classic! This collection reminds me of every reason why I came to love country music and is definately worth having in your collection!

The Judds are the single most important reason I became to love Country music. Their natural harmony will never be duplicated. While it's hard to select a handful of songs from their many great ones, and while a few interesting choices were included toward the end, this album certainly has the essentials to introduce someone to the Judds sound. Definitely worth the listen!
