Winds of Devotion

I was up late, setting up my new iPod Nano, which has a radio function on it. I was trying it out, scrolling through the dial when I came upon this most beautiful music. I immediately tried Shazam to find out the artist but it didn't recognize it. Then I went online to the radio station's website and the artist wasn't uploaded by the station. I recorded what I could on my cell phone's microphone and finally at the end the DJ said the name of the album and the song, "Wisdom" from "Winds of Devotion" by Nawang Khechog and R. Carlos Nakai. Thank goodness it was here on iTunes, because it put me it an entirely new state of mind-- peaceful and thoughtful, and it made me want to cry from its beauty. I purchased it immediately.
I can't wait to listen to the whole album, but in the meantime, I'll listen to Wisdom and let myself be taken away. It created an 'Aha' moment, and I can only hope that this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship between myself and this eternal music that seems to come from a place truer and deeper and purer than anything I've heard in some time. It brings tears to my eyes.
