Organic, analogue recorded, raw, erratic time signatures and minimal programming. The band sounds tight and Jonathan's emotional vocals really break through. Super underrated record.
  • One of the best since Life is Peachy

Extremely visceral! This album fires on all 8 cylinders and leaves you begging for more. Davis is at the top of his game, and let's it all hang out for the whole world to see. From start to finish, Remember Who You Are takes us on an emotional journey. Expect nothing less from one of the most influential bands the world has ever known.

I've been a fan of Korn since I first saw the blind video on bevis and butthead before some of you were born. Seen them with stitches in my legs on cruches. With that being said this is a older sound with a new twist. I do feel that it sounds very rushed and not well put together but I believe that's the point. Remember shoots and ladders? We all know nursery rhymes are not to sound like that, it was a reflection of his childhood. This whole album is the same thing. Distorted and f up. It's very emotional and the sound reflects that. But that's my opinion.

Stop shooting down this album, it's not my favorite but let's see you put a band together and selling millions of cd's... Seriously... Respect them for who they are not what you want them to be.
  • A huge step backwards!!

In my opinion, korns NEVER made a bad Cd. personally I think this is better than Untitled but at the same time tieing with SYOTOS . This album is really weird to me though cause there are 3 categories this albums songs land in 1: Good blend of old school and new school sound 8-10 2: Good but forgettable or far from perfect 5-7 3: A Bunch of screaming and just mediocre at best 1-4 okay lets get to the short reviews Uber-Time 2/5 Wow, this did not make me wanna hear the album. But on a second listen i didnt mind it. Oildale (Leave Me Alone) 8/10 The first single from the album and definetly has the anger from early albums. Definetly a great sounding song, but FAR from korns best. Pop A Pill 9/10 The bass...the freakin bass is maybe the best bass line ive heard from my main man Fieldy...btw LOOK AT THIS! Fear is a Place To Live 6/10 Lands around Oildale. Above decent playing and lyrics, but the chorus is all it REALLY has going for it. Move On 4/10 Read the last songs summary. Lead The Parade 4/10 Mediocre at best. Seriously i like screaming but this song sounds SOOO wrong. Let the Guilt Go 10/10 This sounds like it shouldve been from their first album ans this is the soul reason i bought the album. Honestly the song is classic, perfect, angry, Korn...Must buy The Past 10/10 Lyrically amazing. I write songs and this reminds me of something id write which makes me happy Korns doing a song like it. Amazing guitar and ill leave you at this song quote "Cause Love Without Affection...Is Hate Without the Pain"...awesome Never Around 6/10 Quite memerable, but doesnt really leave an impact in terms of instrumental playing. Are You Ready To Live 6/10 Yes I Am, and the bass line is 2nd best from the album in my opinion. But really...Not amazing in terms of Korn Holding All These Lies 9/10Jonathen lets out some really dark lyrics in this song and i really find myself thinking about this song alot in class. When i'm sad. All in all i love this tune Verdict: A great throwback to the classic sound but without Head and Dave the band just cant physically make 5 star albums anymore. I recently listend to Path to Totality and id give it the same Rating Out of 10 i'll give Korn III: - 7.6/10 which is a 4/5

I have been writing reviews like they're soon going out of style today and tis should be one of my last ones for the day. I just have to say that I should have reviewed this album a lot earlier because it has really shown to be one of the best metal albums in recent memory. I think songs like 'Oildale (leave me alone)' bring back the intense sound that we're all used to hearing from Korn and it seems as though they have lost sight of their 2007 album which is a good thing. I see how much this album leads to a perfect follow up album that's coming out. With a song like 'Narcissistic cannibal ft. Skrillex & Kill The Noise' you have to recognize they may be hitting a different phase in their career but yet skipping Korn Vl as they did Korn ll. Whne they went to Korn lll it brought out what the band used to be and right from 'Oildale' you wanted to listen to the rest of the album. You just couldn't resist it no matter what you did. You can't deny that either. They hit home on this one and I already have their new album pre-ordered here on iTunes so I'm ready for more KORN!!!!
