I have followed Marcus Finnie's career for sometime and watched him mature into one of the finest jazz drumers on the scene today. This alumn displays his talents well, keeping my hands and feet tapping to the grooves just as much as when I would catch him performing in Nasville at F. Scott's. I highly recommend this album to anyone who is into funk/jazz or just jazz in general. Very funky tracks! My personal favorites are Parlance which has a very nice funky groove and First Night. Marcus is by far one of the best drummers i've ever heard. Check out this album, its worth every penny!
