How aewome, he kept the voicemail on the machine. I think the lyrics are awesome, and the vocals and lyrics are awesome.

I love the song and i hate to ruin the parade here but this song was in no way written by JMC. A guy named Zane Williams wrote it about 15 years ago. Look it up.

This song is in no way a rip off of anyone! Anyone who knows JMC's music and him know this song has a very deep meaning to him. He had an aunt who had taken off for many years and she called and Jason was the one who answered the phone. Jason is a great artist and person. His music is sung from the heart. If you ever get a chance to see him live jump on it, you will never regret it. I have seen him many and I mean many times and I have never been disappointed.

If you're a parent this song rings true to you. If your an idiot or someone without kids then you may believe that this song is a rip off of Blake's song. Not that Blake's is bad, his is good too, just two different stories. Pay attention when you listen and you will understand. Great vocals and picking. Congrats on your success JMC.

Fantastic song!! This has a lot more meaning than Blake Shelton's song. It's not about a boyfriend and girlfriend. This is about the undevotional love of a father or any parent, who goes through hard times with child. I think you need to listen a little closer to the words.
  • A beutifull and heart breaking song

This song is NOT, repete, NOT a rip off of Austin.I strongly agree with LellysPhotography, this song is a beautifull song about a dad (as oposed to a father) telling his daughter that she is still loved and can come home anytime she wants to. LISTEN TO THE LYRICS, and maybe then you'll understand. Any parent who has lost there child no matter at what age the child leaves, certinly will understand this song. It is a very emotional and heart tuging song that leaves you crying and understanding that the bond between a parent and their child is unconditionaly unbroken.
  • Kinda agree

I do also agree that this song is similar to the Austin song by Blake Shelton BUT IF YOU LISTEN TO THE LYRIC. I believe it's a father talking to his daughter about no matter what shes done she can come home. Not a man talking to a girl he loves.
