What's the deal with not being able to see or sample the track list? I feel like iTunes is trying to bamboozle people buying a crap CD. Might as well go to Target. Part of iTunes greatest is convenience, this is far from it. Thanks to others for your reviews. Sorry if you wasted $10 on crap. :(

With that being said, on Itunes behalf, the record company feeds the info into itunes and tells it how to set up the tracklisting and edits. Apple does not have control over that. So with that being said, here is my review. I have been djing the circuits now and some amazing clubs for about 20 years and I have to admit that Jason Nevins mixes are not that good and this mix is no exception. This compilation is what a fan of pop music should expect from a more commercial/mainstream remixer - producer. This starts off very slow with 2 hip hop tracks and builds into Britney Spears Break The Ice. From there it is a pop radio listening audiences dream mix. A lot of us that would expect a different kind of collection from Ultra. I think they took a huge chance on putting Jason up to the challenge. More than half of the tracks are Jason Nevins remixes and his own production Open Ur Mind is included (which the vocals really kill that song big time). The only saving grace on here is Estelle's American Boy remixed by Benny Benassi which is a huge sounding remix in a club but does not fit with this collection other than it was a top 40 song. Being a huge fan of the Ultimix series, this is a big disappointment for them especially with a pop remixer like Jason Nevins. Hopefully when number 11 arrives they may choose someone who is less of a mainstream remixer. The slow hip hop tracks though throw me off immensely as well because that has never really been the focus of these ultra mix sets (which originally were to introduce people to dance tracks and cutting edge dj's). Personally, I am not a fan of pop remixes. I feel there is no need to go to a club just to hear the same songs you hear on the radio just set to a dance beat. If you are a fan of pop radio this a great introduction to the pace of dance music but do not go the huge night club in your area and expect this type of mix. Nothing personal with Jason just not a fan of his work.

I bought this in cd form so I could avoid the continuous track (get a clue iTunes, most people DON'T like continuous tracks). The reviews before me say it all. This is NOT dance music. Club music, maybe, considering the horrible track that most "dance" clubs are taking, playing a*s shaking and grinding music. The songs that are remixed for the dance floor, well... most of the mixes just aren't very good. Nevins really dropped the ball on this one.

Love the song, hate the price, so I rate the whole album as a 1, because I don't think people should scam other people on their money! Why does one song cost $10.00?... the person selling this album/song, should just put the price down to $1.00 and then they would probably make more money then they are now, because more people would buy something that is cheaper... my opinion!!!!!!!!!!! ... SERIOUSLY?
