Energy

A truly wonderful album to listen to. I find the track "Argentina" to resonate with me but the other tracks are just as fantastic. These gentlemen are exceptionally talented and are worth seeing live should the opportunity present itself.

.....closing in on two decades this dynamic four man team have all but defined the new millenium's jazz fusion genre....as usual Larry Carlton's (as he did with the Crusaders) strings is the glue that makes it stick really tight.....Bob (aka Mr. SweetFingers) on keys gives it that edge....both Nathan and Harvey as usual provide the remaining ingredents that makes the mix all so perfect.....

The song Fortune Teller is one of the funkiest song I have heard in a long time. Energy is a great album, these four fantastic musicians are so good it's just amazing. I want to be just as funky on the piano and keyboards like Bob James. Great job, please let me know when you come to the Bay Area, I'll be there to check it out LIVE. Thanks

It's a shame that Four super talented artists like this have to "dumb down" their talent in order to get paid. I don't blame them, I blame the record company execs.

This is the kind of music that you would probably hear in a buffet on cruise ship. Please take this out of jazz section

I was fortunate enough to get a pre-release copy of "Energy" 3 weeks before of the national release date. I eagerly await each new album from these guys and from the very first listen I knew they another fantastic album on their hands. "The Whistler" is a pleasant diversion for them, and "Sebastian" quickly became a favorite of mine. I wasn't a Jazz fan until I discovered Fourplay, but since I did (on their very first album) they quickly became my all-time favorite group and each subsequent album I have purchased within its first week of release. Laid back and solid, heartfelt and smooth, there simply isn't another group like Fourplay...anywhere.

A must have!! :-)
