  • A Perfect Moment in Musical Time

Dead Can Dance may not be for everyone. Each of their records contain what seems to me to be divinely inspired moments. The Serpents egg is a culmination of those moments. I remember crying to this record when it came out during my college years. That is personal to me and I encourage you to make this album personal for you if you can. The two main "protagonists" in the "group" seem to distill all of their world music, historical and religious musical influences into something spiritual yet secular. Listen to the album as a whole with no distractions and you may just be moved to tears.

Really not sure why it took them so long to get these titles back on the iTunes Music Store shelf. Maybe because of the remasters? They (all the Dead Can Dance titles) were here a couple years ago, in the iTunes Music Store, then all of a sudden, one day, they disappeared. Glad to see they are all back!
