You think of LOX you think Jadakiss and styles P, but what about Sheek he was out the spotlight. He rips it on this cd! Now he is on top of the D block/LOX ladder lookin down at styles p and jadakiss. I got that jadakiss last kiss cd all i can say is it is garbo and a waste of money! Styles P is old news now not good as he used to be. Sheek is taken over bye bye Jada and Styles P.

Sheek Louch is back with his new album, "Silverback Gorilla." He features some hot guest appearances so lets see if he lives up to all the hype. Track By Track: 1. Lottery (Skit) 2. Think We Got A Problem: The first track of the album is an amazing one. Bun and Game are featured and both do their part in this hardcore banger. 5/5 3. Keep Pushin': A decent track here in which allows Sheek Louch to flow nicley. 4/5 4. Good Love: The best track on the album. The beat is tight and Sheek Louch flows the best on this track out of all of them. 5/5 5. D-Block/Dipset: The kings of D-Block and Dipset are featured here besides the true king, Juelz Santana. They all do their thing as Jadakiss adds the hottest verse of all. 5/5 6. We At War: Another decent track here as Louch flows nicely. The beat isn't as good though and the background vocals aren't great. 3.5/5 7. Scrap to This: An uptempo beat that works alright. It's not great as the beat seems a little screechy and doesn't go well with Louch's raspier, deeper voice. 3/5 8. Don't Be Them: The track is ok. It's better than the last one as Louch's voice fits better. 3.5/5 9. Gettin' Stronger: Hard hittaz Styles P and Jada are featured here. It's a good track where Jada puts out another hot verse. 4/5 10. That's A Soldier: A horn in the background with a drum bangin beat. Once again, it just doesn't fit all that well. 3/5 11. What What: A bangin bass song that Louch executes nicely. His voice fits well and his flow is sick. 4/5 12. We Comin': Unk is a good producer/rapper and he shows that in this song. He throws in a nice verse and this track's a hot one. 4.5/5 13. Crowd (Skit) 14. We Spray Crowds: Another hardcore beat and hard lyrics. This is definitely Louch's comfort zone as the track flows nicely. 4/5 15. Rubber Grip: I'm not a fan of Fat Joe but he does decent in this one as Styles P adds in a great verse. Decent cut here. 4/5 16. 2 Turntables & A Mic: Interesting take on this track as the beat gives a different touch to the song. Still decent, nonetheless. 3.5/5 17. Mic Check: Slow beat here that gives an R&B feel to the track. It works well as Louch talks about the rappers and DJ's in the game today. 4/5 18. Go Hoodlums: Another banger here and not a bad way to end the album. It's not the best, but it wraps up the album on a positive note. 4/5 All in all, Sheek Louch put out a hot one here. It was a ton better than expected and I'm glad to say that I enjoyed it. I can see that he put some true effort into this album and only had one or two lackluster tracks. He did a great job. Overall Score: 4/5
