I was turned on to this song and Lambada music in general while living in Osaka, Japan in the early '90's. I had a Brazilian girlfriend and we used to hang out a small latin club called, Sud de la Fronterra.....It was a hang out for many South American ex-pats. This song always filled the small dance floor and mesmerized the patrons of the club! What great memories!
