Stunning album; I wanted, "Queen of the Underworld," most.... Is this more of the ITunes Mushroom? Where is the full product? "Messed up like an earthquake..."
  • Best album I've heard in years.....

This is, hands down, the best album I've heard in YEARS....the songwriting is EPIC and original and the music endures....it's 3 years old and still sounds as good as it did the first time I heard it....this guy needs the support of radio/TV...whatever - this music needs to be heard.....THE HEAT is a great follow up also and the new EP rocks the house down...

why leave off the track "queen of the underworld?" especially since it's referenced in the album synopsis...i'm getting so whipped by itunes' partial albums.

Jesse Malin used to be in the group D-Generation, a punk outfit. His solo career goes in a different direction. Good friend Ryan "the juggernaut" Adams produced this album in six days. But this is Jesse's record, period. Future classics like "Queen of the Underworld," "Brooklyn," and the rockin' "Wendy" should be on everybody's playlist.

I love his music. The lyrics are -for the most part- amazing. You can tell he means every word. Good for alternative/indie fans. Not for those expecting metal or heavy rock.

Hey, I didn't know Ryan Adams made albums under the ghost name Jesse Malin?
