My favorite Candy Dulfer CD remains Saxuality, but I still recommend buying Candy Store.

I saw Candy in Cleveland 12/3/10 at the annual Dave Koz and Friends Smooth Jazz Christmas. This woman is hot. She can blow that sax, she can sing, she can dance, and she is damn saxy. She marks the first time Dave has toured with another saxophonist and she is a great addition to this tour. Try her. You'll like her.

I just came across Candy Store while surfing the iTunes store and what a great discovery. Will be listening to these tracks steadily for a while to come. Frankly, though, I think some of them could lose the pseudo-rap intros with no harm done - just get straight into the music.
  • Candy is wonderful!

I have been a Candy Dulfer fan for many years. I even had the pleasure of meeting her briefly in 2003 in NY. Candy and Thomas Bank together have made wonderful music! Search you tube for the live version of Everytime! This album is just fantastic and I look forward to her next project.

I was listening to the iTunes radio jazz station and heard this song that just seemed to grab hold of me. Everytime was the name of that song. This song is amazing to me. It reminded me of the first time I heard Kenny G's live version of Silhouette. Chills all over! She plays from the heart and If you are any kind of TRUE music lover, her music (this song for me) will touch yours.
  • Candy Rap?

I totally wasted 99 cents on the title track. I remember the old days when Candy fronted a 5-star funky band. This stuff does not cut it at all.
  • Buy this album....

"If I Ruled thw World", LA City Lights, ans Soulsax were just some of the songs I couldn't stop listening to. The funky Dutch sax player is her best album yet. (I bought the actual album)

As a whole, the album is great, quite possibly Candy's best. It's a more complete album than anything she's released since the early 90s. I literally can't stop listening to it, especially in the car. Some tracks (L.A. City Lights, Everytime, La Cabana, SoulSax) I prefer over others, but by no means is anything on this album bad. Also, be advised that there is an external noise added to "L.A. City Lights". It's an effect meant to make it sound like a record added to the actual mix of the track; the download sounds the same way it does on the radio and on the CD.
  • Too funky

I like Candy Dulfer's music. I love the song LA City Lights, but most of the other songs in this collection are too funky for my taste. I like the jazz sound better.
