Why would anyone buy the album, when you can save $2.00 by purchasing the tracks separately...?

"The Red Violin" is the composition that keeps on giving. First it was the most brilliant score written in many many years. Then, it was played in concert by the incredible Joshua Bell. And now - Corrigliano has transformed it into a viable concert work. (Just don't make it into a ringtone!) A wonderful sonic recording - kudos to the Baltimore Symphony and the sound engineer.

Just like it is; the red violin. The music is perceptibly darker which is similar to Beethoven's Grosse Fugue. But wonderful all the same. I am happy to know that Itunes finally released music from the Baltimore Symphony--I had a violin teacher from an elem. school who was part of the symphony. I hope you're reading this!!!! Fantastic job!
