An absolute JEWEL!! Della in her prime and at her best, doing what only Della can do. Forget what you know, or have heard about her, this is Della RAW, Down and Dirty. This album is only bested by her "Live at the Playboy Club , One More Time". Her Duke Ellington rendition of "I Got It Bad, And That Ain't Good" is classic, and her "Too Much Man" though rough is still endearing, but her best track "Good Mornin' Blues" will blow you away. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention "You've Got The Right Key, But the Wrong Keyhole." Again, Della in her prime, and at her best. Don't get much better!
