I haven’t been this obsessed with a Christmas album in… well, ever. There is a fluid and warm quality to this album, from the originals to the remixed classics, Robert Glasper doesn’t miss with this body of work. My only hope is the iTunes exclusive nature doesn’t prevent us from getting a vinyl release one day; this would be perfect to put on the record player during the Holidays!

This album is amazing, pure musical brilliance! I have heard some the traditional Christmas songs a million times, BUT NOT LIKE THIS!!! This guys visions and collaborations with these vocalists aren’t comparable. Hands down a beautifully down Christmas album, that a true music lover/ musician would love

Gotta start with how much I love Robert Glasper. I see him as my generation's Thelonius Monk. That said, he can do no wrong in my book. This is like having Mr. Glasper over for a holiday dinner party. Deep and spacious, full of flavor like a never-ending plate of mac & cheese and collard greens. Gonna be on heavy rotation through the holiday.

I don’t usually leave comments. However, I was touched by the songs on this album. So, here’s my comment. This album (and all of Robert Glasper’s albums) need to receive the respect and appreciation it deserves. Robert Glasper is an amazing, authentic, and creative musician. He is gifted with the brilliance of infusing soul(ful) music, classical jazz and art together. No one else is like him.
