Weezer stuck to it. 28 songs in one year! And none of them were terrible. Winter is the hardest SZNZ to grasp… lots of really cool moments. Iambic Pentameter is one of the most complex weezer songs to date. Basketball’s verse sounds like 90’s weezer. Dark enough to see the stars is fantastic. No stinkers on this ep. I’m interested to see if rivers says the projects are meant to be listened to in order or if he will combine them onto one album

This band is basically doing a mediocre impersonation of their early 1990’s material, only this time……..it’s not as good. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great. I will say that it’s the best of their “recent” material. Nothing will ever top the legendary Blue album.
