When at first I came across Sleeping At Last's album Storyboards, I fell in love not only with their beautiful sound, but moreover with their incredible lyrics. Never before has a band's lyrics moved me so much. The day after I bought Storyboards I bought this album and then their first one, Ghosts. They are in the upper-echelon of my favorite bands, and they might have just taken the lead. Keep No Score is the most beautiful of the three albums in my opinion. The music floats around O'Neal's voice like water, moving, growing and fading as his voice does. The strings beautify the entire production. String instruments have that uncanny ability to delve into the soul; they can either embody complete depression or the greatest inspiriation the human heart can understand. Umbrellas takes the cake for me on this album. This song's lyrics are so simple and so honest and the music is so phenomenally gorgeous that I cannot stop listening to it. I really want it to be played at my wedding, maybe even as the centerpiece song. Its really that beautiful. Tension and Thrill really relates to me. I'm an artist, both a photographer and a writer, and the line "We are diamonds waiting to be found" really nudges the spirit within me. I know my work is waiting to be found, just as this band is waiting to see their music found by all. I really think everyone needs to hear what they have to offer. I hope Sleeping At Last remains self-produced from now on. They are completely phenomenal without a record company and I'm afraid what might happen if a company takes advantage of them. I could say so much about every song on this masterpiece, but doing so would take too much time and too much space, and no one wants to read that long of a review anyway. I'll just suffice to say that this album certainly is a masterpiece. No other word can properly describe it.

I enjoy music that not only has a sound that lures me in but one can tell that the artist carefully crafted each word to capture a feeling, a thought, a moment. SAL spent that time and it is truly seen in this music. Thank you for your gifts SAL!

It is unfortunate that so seldom such a gorgeous sound reaches our playlists. Digging through mainstream bands, seeking those refreshing songs is a monotonous and daunting task, any enthusiast would agree. This album truly analyzes the very nature of music. Not merely the song, but the maintained flow throughout the CD leaves you craving more and wondering, "Why, just now, am I sleeping at last?" This album will satisfy your relentless search for "something new."

Some songs by artists of this day and age, are labled good enough, after just a few minutes of writing, no other album I have seen, has as much love, care, and time poured into each and every song.

A slightly more mellow and less pop approach than Ghosts. Keep No Score is beautifully epic, with loads of string arrangements and piano adding a new level of depth and dynamic to this amazingly talented band. This album is phenominal. With the amount of strings and added instrumentation on this album, I'm curious as to how they pull these songs off live. This band deserves to be huge.

The story of this is that I got three of the songs first; I didn't know where I got them. I looked up the artist, and WOW! This album is absolutely amazing. It's perfect power music if you know what I mean. You can tell that the people who made this put a lot of work into this album and wanted people to absolutely love it. That test difinately passed for me. Again, this album is absolutely brilliant! This is a must buy. If you like power music then don't listen to the people that might say this is 3 or less stars. Get the album. It's up with Jack Johnson and almost The Beetles.

This is the best album I've heard in a long while. Really good songcraft and the lyrical content is really challenging and yet comforting. Do yourself a favor and buy this album. It will stay with you forever.
