Any band who tries makeup or any gimmicks, is full of insecurities. Sounds like recycled tunes, generic.
  • Worst album yet

Big fan of Avatar, but I got to say this album is the worst album they made. It lacks any originality from the previous albums. They took way to many steps back. Maybe stop worshiping satan. They all need Jesus, this album is trash.

How are people able to review an album based on 3-4 songs? Avatar are an amazing and talented band and in my opinion deserve much more praise than they get. They are amazing live and are always switching it up and staying fresh. I can understand if you don’t like certain styles of music. However, if you are a hard rock/metal fan and don’t appreciate what’s going on here, I have to question your ability to judge music in any sort of meaningful way. Pick it up and turn it up and enjoy!

Some fans may want heavier content, but I’ve always liked catchy, melodic, dynamic bands like this. They don’t sit in one established sound, they keep trying other things and incorporating various influences. For me, it makes their music lively and entertaining. They get stuck in my head for days - and this is the kind of stuff I actually want to get stuck in my head, instead of annoying jingles from ads or kid songs from my son’s toys/shows. So thank you, Avatar, for helping me dislodge some of those irritating jingles. This is a great addition to their discography.

There can such thing as being too eclectic and Avatar has achieved that with this album. Far too much shrieking that it’s headache-inducing. The guitar riffs feel lifeless and recycled on almost every song. Love Avatar and consider them the most underrated band on earth but this album is mediocre at best.
