I'm not a huge fan of re-records but the way Bryan Adams does this he's not really trying to match his old stuff perfectly. The production is similar in that the effects on his voice and whatnot are very similar, but the way he records these it's almost like we get a new live version. To top it off, at a time when older artists can't hit the notes of their older material due to voice maturation, Bryan amazingly hits every note like he's singing in the 80's and 90;s. Well done!!

These cuts sound to me remixed plus they included the studio fade outs. The vocals are more mixed up front with the big echo/reverbs turned way down and some of the overdubs are eliminated as well. Most notable to me is Run To You. There was nothing wrong in the original version but this new remixed version is just as powerful and eternal as the cut from Reckless. This is a nice concept that more artists should do with their catalog. Hint hint.

Turning back the clock to hear the “classic” songs without the fade outs is brilliant. The re-recordings sound great and tributary to the originals. Great rendition/re work of Hidin From Love…. It’s a great listen!!
