I was transported to an alternate dimension where I wasn’t born in the late nineties but instead I was born on a small farm in 1950’s Iowa. I helped my 22 other siblings out on the farm, of course, but I was never fully satisfied. After my father forced me to drop out of school in 1966, I was devastated. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life toiling in a corn field or shooting coyotes who came after the chickens. I wanted to be something more. So I fled the farm and moved the The Big City™️ and the moment I entered the city this song started ominously playing in my head as I partook in a montage of meeting strangers, buying clothes somehow even though I used all my money to escape Iowa, and acquired a rundown apartment through country charm and a mild sexual favor.
