The Canadian-Mexican collaboration of pop singer Alessia Cara and hard rock trio The Warning have produced one of the most original “covers” for Metallica’s Blacklist album. Taking to heart the instructions from Lars to turn one of the classics from the Black album upside down and inside out and make it their own, they produced a unique re-imagining of the song while still paying homage to the original. The music video is great too. 5 Stars!!

This is not really like a cover. It's like a new song with Enter Sandman lyrics and the haunting feeling of the original. Alessia's vocals blend so nicely with Daniella's vocals and the mix is so cool. When Paulina recites the bedtime prayer it's nearly chilling (especially when watching the video). The Warning nails it with their instrumental ability and the killer ending jam reminds you this is a Metallica song. Five stars.
