You can really hear the influence of different genres they listened to in this album. With the blues and r/b mixed in and the gospel vocals. They did such a good job of incorporating these styles of music into theirs without overdoing it. The production was fantastic. And the drums ugh were so fun. The flams and snare patterns are so cool throughout the album. Carolina skies is one of my personal favorites because I’ve just never heard a song pieced together like this one and it’s just done so well. Babylon, Light, Live Again, Dirty Bombs, and Motown are all also gems and some of my favorites. Can’t wait to see this live! Great album top to bottom guys!
