When I first heard of this collaboration, I was very excited and intrigued to hear it. Anyone who is familiar with Zayn knows that he is quite good when it comes to choosing who to collaborate with on a song. They ALWAYS turn out phenomenal. His voice fits a variety of different genres which makes him a true artist who is able to act as a musical chameleon in any song he is in. His vocals meshed so well with Ingrid’s it was absolutely beautiful. Ingrid did an amazing job of transitioning from her high notes back to her full voice. It sounded effortless. Zayn came through with his amazing soft vocals with some peaks of high notes that we know he is amazing with controlling. The song alone makes anyone feel optimistic because of how they keep repeating that “It’s alright/It’s okay/We will get/Another day/To begin again.” This provides the listener with a feeling that even though life might seem really tough at this moment, it is not permanent. There is a bright day ahead of you and tomorrow you will get another chance to begin again and have no regrets or doubts. This song is also very good to have in times of the current world situation because it seems like we are just stuck living the same day over and over again but we are not stuck. There is a better time ahead of us even if we don’t see it yet.
