This EP is a breath of fresh air in 2020, especially for us Xennials and lovers of R&B.
Slim and Mike have successfully defied the odds and proved the naysayers wrong. The duo have curated an eclectic body of work here and maintained that 112 sound that we are used to experiencing.
From the intro to signature interludes and outros, this EP is solid. It almost felt like a full album, but if this is what we can look forward to, I can be patient. I also love that we get to hear Mike on more of the tracks.
My personal faves are “Nowhere” and “Anytime”. “For us” takes me back to the time where music had a message on the beat.

These two, Mike and Slim, took the hand that was dealt to them and made it work! We know 112 as a quartet and that is the way we like it to stay BUT circumstances and differences got in the way. They saw the jokes of calling them “56” (half of 112) 😂 but this EP proves they ARE whole (112). These 2 have taken the sound to a new level as a duo and proven they got this! I hope the group comes together again but Mike and Slim can not lose as long as they stay true to the sound they created! Thanks guys! Thanks for doing this EP “FOR US” ❤️😊 I am not disappointed.

This EP is the consummate answer to those who would doubt that Slim and Mike as a duo could command the harmonies and vocal prowess that encompass 112’s signature sound. From beginning to end, 112 Forever is a journey, each piece seamlessly joining the next and transporting the listener through a myriad of emotions. Absolutely love it. Hoping for a full album next!!
