    Tom Shear is probably my favorite electronic artist. I have bought almost all of A23’s extensive catalog. This album is synthpop at its best: lovely melodies, beeping and burbling synths with Tom’s baritone singing thought provoking lyrics. Every song is solid, but the absolute winner for me is “Dissonance.” It brings together a throbbing 1/8 note bass line with some really cool work on the keys. It’s the perfect kind of song that comes from years of practice, talent, and production skills. I hope to catch A23 on tour.
