Written with fans during weekly Instagram Live sessions that were streamed during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, this EP shows off the creativity and earnestness that can come from isolation. From the steady beat of “Reaching Out To You” to the warm and quiet reassurances of “Dance With Me” and “The Curve Of Earth”, the five songs included here convey one simple message: you’re gonna be okay, and we’re here for you. Snow Patrol has always been a band that stays close to their fans, and these songs are no exception. Almost every line is drawn from a fan of theirs, the cover art is fan submitted, and throughout the entire process, fans were kept updated on every step. The entire EP was a collaborative effort, and both the band and their fans should be very proud of themselves. Long live the Saturday Songwriters. Long live Snow Patrol.
