I've always been a piano player. Mind you, I haven't taken lessons in 10 years, but I've always played. However, once I stopped taking lessons, I stopped learning new music. I was contempt to sit and play the same songs over and over... until I heard Overcome on internet radio. I knew I needed to have the CD. It has reinspired me to discover my music once again. I highly recommend this composition!

This album and feature song were included in a concert David had for a small crowd of us in Fayetteville, TN. The music was and will always be a reflection of a special gift given only to a few people posessing special relationship with the Creator.

While listening to Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, I found a few of David's pieces and pursued finding more of his music. After previewing most of the albums I found this one to be by far the best.All of David's music is worth while but Overcome has a unique, relaxing and somewhat somber quality to it. I highly reccomend this album to anyone into solo piano music, 10 out of 10!

I love all of David's music so it's hard to choose a favorite, but there is something about Overcome that lifts it above the rest. Pure talent, pure inspiration, pure piano. Overcome outshines anything I've heard from Winston, Brickman, Tesh or Yanni. This is incredible stuff.

"Overcome", another excellent album from David Nevue. David puts his heart into his music, filling it with emotion and giving each track a message of its own. The title track, "Overcome", is a personal favorite, one I've listened to and played myself time and time again. "Broken" is another favorite from this album. I highly recommend it and am anxiously awaiting his next release in the summer of 2007.
